1. Privacy First Philosophy
At HabitStreak, we believe that your personal growth, habits, and daily schedules are your own business. We designed our application from the ground up to follow an offline-first paradigm. We do not maintain user databases, track your habits on our servers, or require you to register an email address to use the application.
2. Local Data Storage
All information you input into HabitStreak—including habit names, target completion counts, scheduled times, category colors, and completion histories—is stored locally and exclusively on your physical mobile device.
- No habit logging data is uploaded, sync'd, or transmitted to any external servers run by HabitStreak.
- Since your logs are saved in local storage, if you uninstall the application, all recorded consistency streaks and data will be permanently deleted unless you have generated a manual backup.
3. Data Backups & Exports
HabitStreak Pro offers manual database backup and import capabilities. When you create a backup, it is formatted as a localized file on your device. You choose where to store or share this backup file (e.g. sending it via mail or uploading to your private iCloud Drive / Google Drive). HabitStreak has no access to these backup files once they are exported.
4. Optional Diagnostic & Crash Reporting
To help us solve technical issues, HabitStreak integrates with optional crash reporting utilities (Firebase Crashlytics).
- Disabled by Default: Diagnostic logs and crash reporting are disabled by default. No data will be sent unless you explicitly toggle this option "On" in the app's General Settings screen.
- Anonymization: If enabled, only anonymous system logs (device model, operating system version, and stack traces) are transmitted. No habit titles, user notes, or private routine logs are ever shared.
5. In-App Subscriptions & Purchases
HabitStreak uses RevenueCat to validate in-app purchases and process subscriptions for HabitStreak Pro.
- Transactions are managed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment gateways.
- RevenueCat processes secure, anonymous purchase identifiers to confirm your subscription status. No personal financial information or private habit metadata is processed by RevenueCat.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to align with new features. Any updates will be published on this page and reflected in the updated application settings.
